The Notre Dame Football Team and seven individual players were included on the 2018 Team and Individual Academic All-State Awards. The requirements for the awards are listed below.

Team Academic All-State Qualifications

• Academic Qualification: Average Cumulative GPA of ALL Seniors = 3.33 or higher.

Individual Academic All-State Qualifications

• Age Qualification: Senior (12th Grade)
• Academic Qualification: 3.75 (cumulative) GPA or higher
• Athletic Qualification: Varsity Letterwinner​

The 20 Seniors on the NDA football team had an average GPA of 3.345.
